Wool care instructions
Follow these guidelines to keep your wool garments looking beautiful for years to come.
Hand wash only
Use lukewarm water and a gentle wool detergent. Gently agitate and avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
Cool water
Always use cool or lukewarm water (30°C or below). Hot water can cause wool to shrink and felt.
Flat dry
Lay flat on a clean towel away from direct heat or sunlight. Reshape while damp and allow to air dry naturally.
Low heat steam
If needed, use a cool iron with steam or press through a damp cloth. Never iron directly on wool.
Fold and store
Fold wool garments and store in a cool, dry place. Use cedar or lavender sachets to deter moths.
Treat stains promptly
Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains, consult a professional dry cleaner.
Important tips
- Pilling is natural and can be removed with a fabric shaver or sweater comb
- Allow wool to rest between wears to maintain its shape and elasticity
- Professional dry cleaning is recommended for structured wool garments
